Nomad Pro 2

The Nomad is a handheld portable X-Ray system. One of the main advantages of this technology is that the time required for the sensor to be in the mouth is greatly reduced since taking an image with the Nomad is considerably faster than conventional x-rays.

Since it is portable, the operator can take the machine directly to the patient in order to take an X-Ray, instead of having the patient move back and forth between rooms.

The instance of retakes due to unobserved movement among children and special needs patients is significantly reduced when the operator remains chair side, thus decreasing patient anxiety and movement during an exposure.

The inherent shielding on the x-ray head and cone reduces exposure to the patient.

Zoom whitening

The ZOOM Teeth Whitening system relies heavily on a specially formulated bleaching gel, which we apply directly to your teeth. Once we have the gel in place, we use a special ZOOM heat lamp over the mouth to activate the gel with both heat and light. We repeat the procedure a couple of times in sessions that last approximately 15 minutes.

After the third treatment, we rinse your teeth and you are done! In this amount of time, we succeed in getting yourteeth an average of 6-8 shades whiter than they were when you came in. The treatment is quick, easy and comfortable, with NO ANESTHESIA necessary. The only side effects you might experience are a bit of increased oral sensitivity, but that will subside within a few hours to a few days. For longer periods of sensitivity, we recommend a special desensitizing toothpaste (Sensodyne) to use until symptoms subside.

In all, ZOOM Teeth Whitening is proven to be significantly more effective than at home trays or whitening strips, which can take anywhere from a week to a month to show their results, which aren’t as drastic as a single ZOOM session. Additionally, whitening toothpaste usually only helps your teeth to get one or two shades lighter, and it takes more than a month to accomplish those results. Ask us for more details today!!

INVISALIGN

Orthodontic treatments that use either braces or Invisalign are just few of the many techniques used by dental professionals in straightening the teeth of their patients. They straighten teeth to give them an ideal position, improve their look, and promote proper function. Invisalign utilizes a set of clear plastic trays as a means of achieving the proper position. Traditional braces, on the other hand, usually make use of metal wires with an aim of getting the most ideal movement or position for the teeth.

The use of Invisalign is an efficient method for tooth movements that are not too complicated. We will discuss your treatment goals and can determine if invisalgn is the best option for you.

A set of clear, computer-generated trays is ideally worn 24 hours a day with change-outs every two weeks. There are certain trays that can last for six months to one year. However, these require some form of retention to prevent the teeth from shifting back. One of its best advantages is that the trays are relatively invisible. Hence the name Invisalign. Some people simply don’t want anyone to know they are wearing braces. They also provide help for people who wish to obtain straight teeth while still feeling comfortable in social situations. Wearing Invisalign offers comfort because it does not affect your speech. Ask us for more details.
